"This song was also written in my late thirties. As you can see, I experienced a flurry of creativity around that time. I hadn't played for years after fighting leukemia from 2001 to 2007, including recovery, side affects, etc. But meeting Bob in 2009 inspired me to start writing again. I wrote most of my songs in my mid-twenties after a series of heartbreaks and broken relationships which I was at least equally responsible for. Dream Chaser is a wiser version of the kind of song I wrote back then." - Mike

Took a ride on a plane
Far away from my life
Far away from frustration
Far away from strife

Went away to escape
Came back to start anew
But my life was waitin' for me
I knew what I had to do
