Used to go the The Little Horse Lodge on the last weekend of every month for their open mic music jam. Same group of musician friends would show up every month and sing their hearts out until closing time. It was a very magical time. This was around the time I was 18 and 19 years old. My parents usually drove me up to the lake from Vancouver just for that special weekend. I have excellent parents. I am very fortunate. Long live Milo Boe - the spirit that got me into Hank Williams Sr. and Steve Earle. The music video for this song was filmed at The Little Horse Lodge with Sue Baines and Steve Cottrill, my friends.
